Another great day. Guys off fishing and caught halibut and salmon right out front. Watched a cash buyer next to us loading huge boxes of pinks (salmon) from all the local fishermen. We ladies went for a gunk around Inian Islands with Dave. We saw so many whales and they were really entertaining us. We checked out all the coves and saw otters with little ones lying on their stomachs eating clams and crabs. Came across a bay with a large sign “Tourist Rape Alaska”, obviously not a friendly type. In another bay while taking pictures of large sea lions, a huge humpback whale surfaced right beside us. Just a little scary. In South Inian Strait we had a large herd of sea lions chasing after us and the whales were right alongside too. Our dog Scupper loves it, but we had to tie Kobe’ up to keep him in the boat. A very exciting day!
