Sunny. Haley, Mike, Betty, Pat and Bob went to see Dawes Glacier, while we lifted “Peaire” out of the water and onto “Ladner Lass” for a survey of the leg damage. Did a number! Need to replace bottom end. The gangs back and saw more calving than last time. Underway by 1pm and on our way south in the rain on Stephens and Frederick to Cleveland Passage. Lots of whales along the way. A very long travelling day. Anchored just out from the abandoned village. Fish boat and yacht already here. Late dinner of stew and macaroni. Comfort food.
