| "Shaman" at Cape Caution |
Out at 6:45am to do the trip around Cape Caution, “Sequel” already gone. We slept in. No chop, but rollers that almost buried our boats between them. Five hours and we are in Fury Bay. White shell beached. We anchored with Marko. He is called Yodi and Tony is Yoshi. They went off fishing along with Bob & Mike. Mike caught dinner. “Sequel” here too. Jamie and I took in the blazing sun and both got sunburned. Then David took us in “Peaire” to see Big and Little Fry Pan bays. Little bumpy on the way back until we got in behind all the little islands east of Fury. Betty organized an open fire dinner on the beach with salmon, corn, chicken, and chili (Jamie’s). She brought her deep fryer and made fresh fries. What a feast! Bob’s raft escaped. Tony claimed salvage right. Yoshi gave Yodi a bottle of Yoshi champagne to commemorate their first crossing of Cape Caution.
