It rained and blew
last night. We took Scupper for a walk
out on one of the outside islands and I’d say it was blowing 25 to 30 knots out
on Malaspina Strait today judging from the huge waves. Drew & Tracey called from BYC Pender
Harbour to say that it was a mad house there last night and today with many
boats losing anchor and heading for other boats and the shore in the harsh
winds. We are still snug at anchor in
Ballet Bay. Lots of willi waas (swirling
wind) but its okay.
