Longview“, “Banook”
and “A’Capella” left us this morning.
Sounds like the weather is changing and they wanted to start heading
south. David & I went off in
“Peaire” north on Jervis and west to Egmont.
Saw a deer at the north end of Nelson.
A few scattered old cabins along the way.. Not many people here right now. Scupper had another small stroke getting off
at the government dock, but he walked up to the store with us and both of them
are still going strong at Egmont. No
cell service so couldn’t ask those in Ballet is they wanted us to pick up
stuff. Crossed the wake of the BC Ferry
that goes from Earls to Saltery Bay twice.
Our son Drew VHF’d us that they were travelling south passed Cape
Cockburn and heading toward Pender Harbour.
